About Us

Over the years, the LGBTQ community has achieved a lot of monumental feats in various aspects, such as recognition, marriage, and other social liberties. However, achieving gender equality and irradicating discrimination is still far from reality despite this advancement. Knowing this, My Body My Future has come into being.

My Body, My Future is an organization representing LGBTQ in the United States. We have thousands of members across the country and world from various demographics.

We serve as a voice for the LGBTQ community. We represent those who are not heard so that society can open its eyes to the struggles that members face on a daily basis. Whether it’s discrimination or lack of representation, My Body, My Future aims to put these issues forward to be talked about in the hope that changes do happen.

My Body, My Future has made equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) a central focus of our work. The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Framework, which was developed by My Body, My Future governance, and staff as well as volunteers, is a foundational tool for creating substantive change in the way we do things.

Our collective goal is simple: to make everyone understand that the LGBTQ community deserves the same rights as any cisgender individual. Although progress has already been made, there’s still more to be done.
